Guava Milk Shake

4 medium ripe guavas
2 cups milk
1 tablespoon granulated sugar, or to taste

Cut guavas in half; scoop flesh into a blender, being careful to remove the seeds. Pour the milk and sugar into the blender and purée until smooth. Test the shake for sweetness and add more sugar if necessary, puréeing again for a few seconds. Pour the shake into glasses and serve at once.

Makes 4 (8 ounce) servings.
