Arizona Pecan Brittle

2 cups granulated sugar
2/3 cup light KaroŽ syrup
3 cups pecans
1/4 cup water
3 teaspoons baking soda

Line a cookie sheet with aluminum foil and spray Pam over it. Combine sugar, KaroŽ syrup, pecans and water in a saucepan. Boil to the hard-crack stage.

Remove from heat and immediately add the baking soda. Stir furiously. Pour onto prepared cookie sheet. Let cool, then crack into pieces.
